Simplex LP1000 Series The LP1000 and 2015 series mechanical pushbutton trim are designed to operate surface mounted exit devices from the outside using the tailpiece, replacing the key cylinder on new or existing devices. Designed for high-frequency use, these locksets are weather resistant with all-metal construction ideal for outdoor applications.

Both locksets can be used with many leading brands of surface mounted (rim-mounted) exit devices, however, they cannot be used with mortise design, or most vertical rod devices. The 2015 series cannot be used with thumb-operated devices. Exit devices are sold separate.
